Abstract. This article discusses the digital education ecosystem BilimLand, the most popular online learning platform in the education system of Kazakhstan. Using the platform as a digital educational resource, it identifies opportunities and lists advantages and disadvantages by fact. To better understand the essence and possibilities of modern digital learning technologies, it is proposed to consider the typical structure and content of the media platform.

Keywords: distance learning, online learning, BilimLand educational platform, communication channels, digital educational resources.

Distance learning technologies help to find new forms and opportunities for teaching at school. A few years ago, no one could have guessed that distance learning was possible. Currently, distance learning plays a huge role in the modernization of Education.

But when it comes to primary school, some may argue that distance learning is not possible in the initial generation due to the age of the children. But considering this question from the other side, it can be proved that an innovative approach to teaching diversifies the educational process and gives students additional skills. Distance education technologies are understood as educational technologies implemented mainly through the use of information and telecommunications technologies.

Distance learning is considered as a type of interactive interaction between the teacher and students, reflecting all the components inherent in the educational process (goals, content, methods, organizational forms, teaching aids), carried out in the context of the implementation of ICT tools using educational technologies, as well as between them and an interactive source of an information resource.

Distance learning has a number of unique characteristics that distinguish it from other forms and indicate its novelty and relevance:

  • the main part of the process does not require direct interaction between

the teacher and the student;

  • electronic means predominate;
  • the interactive interaction is permanent, not episodic;
  • the greatest responsibility for the performance of work lies with the level of motivation, self-control and responsibility of students.

BilimLand (learning educational platform) is a leader in digital School Education. During the period of application of restrictions on teaching at school and the need to organize distance learning, BilimLand quickly adapted products and services, and also launched special projects that support teachers and school principals, children and their parents. "BilimLand" has developed interactive exercises in all subjects of primary school, many courses for secondary and secondary schools. The number of tasks that a student can complete in a day is regulated by the norms, if done incorrectly, the student will receive more tasks until he learns to do it correctly. Now the site has published instructions on how to organize distance learning at school using the platform and other tools.

BilimLand digital education ecosystem-this platform is a digital assistant for teacher, student and parent.

The goal is to create conditions for each child to receive a quality education, taking into account his abilities and abilities.

The core of the platform: interesting animation and video, simulators and a wide range of interactive tasks and digital lessons. This system can adapt the learning process and content to each student.

The content of the platform is a synthesis of Kazakhstani and best international practices in Kazakh, Russian and English, developed in accordance with the updated curriculum with the state standard.

Let's dwell on the main part of the system. Online school module developed jointly with Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. The content of the online school consists of 24,600 digital lessons and more than 500 thousand tasks developed by the best teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. The digital educational content covers all topics of 37 subjects in the program of grades 1-11. At the moment, 2 million 900 thousand users are registered on the platform. 300 thousand of them are teachers. In the 2020-2021 academic year, the platform conducted more than 350 million online lessons, completed 2.5 billion tasks and exercises. The platform provides equal opportunities for creativity and individual work with each child, facilitating the learning process by automating most of the teacher's daily work. Within the framework of the platform, the teacher gets access to ready-made lesson plans. Automates homework, easily develops curricula and schedules, and develops its own materials using a special constructor. In addition, within the framework of a single ecosystem, professional development courses and a teacher's Association were opened for teachers. And students are included in the system of imitation, which allows them to track their achievements and receive bonuses and prizes for learning outcomes.

Since the new school year, a parent profile has appeared on the online school platform, where you can see the student's progress. The parent receives not only the child's academic performance, but also an instant notification of his whereabouts and his safety. Together with Kazakhtelecom, BilimLand brought quality educational content to the most remote settlements of Kazakhstan. Thanks to this partnership, schools will be able to share the best educational content and educational process automation services with high-speed internet.

Along with the subjects studied at school, BilimLand allows you to use Microsoft, Apple, Adobe and other popular tools necessary for modern work and life, develop important skills of the 21st century, such as Design Thinking, Digital Marketing, Financial Literacy, Emotional Intelligence. In addition, the ecosystem includes an online tutoring system, an online library with the largest collection of electronic and audio books, the functions of automating school life, a system for preparing for Kazakh and international tests, as well as a platform for preschool education.

BilimLand aims to become the largest service in Central Asia in the field of digital education. The platform successfully passed the shrapnel in the schools of the city of Tashkent. Currently, the content is being translated into Uzbek to introduce the BilimLand ecosystem to all schools in Uzbekistan. BilimLand is a quality education available to all.

Features:

  • Individual approach to each student (the system dialogues with the student and responds to his actions; if the right decision is made, he is praised and offered a new task, and in case of a mistake, he is asked clarifying questions that will help him make the right decision);
  • Training takes place in the form of a game;
  • According to the curriculum, there are more than 700 tasks on all topics of elementary school mathematics developed by professional methodologists;
  • Control the progress of each student or the entire class;
  • Use the platform on tablets, computers or interactive whiteboards in the classroom;
  • The formation of individual homework for the whole class or for each student.

Distance learning is becoming more and more popular every day, but is it good and bad? We will consider the main advantages and disadvantages of this type of training.

The advantages of distance education include:

  • Learning at an individual pace-the speed of learning is set by the student himself, based on his individual conditions and needs.
  • Freedom and flexibility-the student can independently plan the time, place and duration of the lesson.
  • Mobility-effective implementation of feedback between the teacher and the student is one of the main requirements and grounds for the success of the educational process.
  • Technologicity-the use of new achievements of information and telecommunications technologies in the educational process.
  • Social equality-equal opportunities for education, regardless of the place of residence, health status, elitism and material security of the student.
  • Development of programs-training programs and courses are well developed.
  • Creativity-favorable conditions for the creative manifestation of the student.

But there are also obvious disadvantages:

- Lack of face-to-face communication between students and teachers. That is, all moments related to the individual approach and upbringing are excluded. And if there is no person nearby who can emotionally color knowledge, this is a significant drawback.

- The need to have a number of individual psychological conditions. For distance learning, strict self-education is required, and its result directly depends on the independence and consciousness of the student.

- The need for constant access to sources of information. Good technical equipment is required: a computer and internet access.

- As a rule, students experience a lack of practical classes.

- In distance education, the basis for training is only in writing. For some, the inability to express their knowledge verbally can be an obstacle.

- The platform offers a small number of free lessons.

The obvious advantage of distance learning is the general accelerated assimilation of new technologies and a significant increase in the functional literacy of teachers and students. This is one of the most important competencies necessary for success in the modern world.

From our point of view, direct communication with the teacher and the exchange of experience in the classroom cannot replace even the most advanced distance technologies. However, the competent introduction of various digital resources into the educational process allows you to make classes much more interesting and effective.
